Italian 1965 DSC 106 chair manufactured by Anonima Castelli and designed by Giancarlo Piretti. The seat and backrest are made from curved wooden plywood beech on a very sturdy cast aluminium frame with round splayed legs.
A perfect office or informal industrial style dining room chair which is very sturdy and well-made. The chairs are stackable.
The date of production and brand name are cast into the aluminium underneath the seat. It varies from chair to chair.
The condition is used and unrestored. There are scratches to the seat/backrest and water marks on some at the back of the seat. Some chairs are better than others. The plastic coated legs are scratched and has split at the end of some of the the leg where it meets the foot.
