An unusual vintage Henkel & Grosse 1962 green-eyed poodle brooch intricately formed from gold metal with a tied rope design. Small metal feature balls sit on its chest and on the tip of the poodle's nose. Signed GROSSE on the reverse. In excellent vintage condition.
Henkel & Grosse Was founded in Germany in 1907 and began making costume jewellery in 1920. in 1955 they became the principal manufacturer for Christian DIOR. From 1958 the company signed and dated all of its jewellery.
