1970s German, futuristic, space-age, white opal glass and chrome table lamp attributed to Leclaire & Schäfer.  The illuminated lamp base requires two E27 screw-in lightbulbs inside with each one pointing in opposite directions which allows the light to shine through the glass evenly.  The lamp sits on a black lacquered base which is held in place with a single screw in the centre underneath which when unscrewed allows you to access the bulbs.  Four horizontal thin chrome rings run around the circumference of the base in between the three bulbous rings of opal glass.  A single E27 screw in bulb sits within the shade.

The table lamp has been rewired by a professional electrician and is in full working order.  An on/off switch sits along the black twisted silk flex.

In very good vintage condition with some small scratches to the chrome ring which holds the bulb holder.

Shade not included.

Dimensions: Overall Diameter: 25cm Diameter of metal base: 15.5cm Height to the top of the bulb socket: 35cm Height to the top of the shade: 48cm
