Pair of Art Deco Cinema Clam Shell Wall Lights

A pair of original 1920s Art Deco cinema clam shell wall lights. The white frosted rippled glass shades are mounted within a metal polished brass frame.  The shades cast a soft diffused light upwards illuminating the wall above beautifully.

The lights are a through back to the golden era of cinema and Art Deco design from that period.  The glass shades are very well and beautifully made and clip into the frame easily with two wire spring loaded clips holding them in place.

The brassed metal fittings show some signs of age related wear with the metal coming through the brass finish on one of them  on the edge of the frame where it meets the shade which I have illustrated in one of the images.  Rewired and in full working order.  A single E14 bayonet bulb is required in each wall light. The metal backplates require two screws to secure them to the wall.

Perfect for most rooms of the home especially if you're lucky enough to have a a home cinema room.
