Set of 4 "Him & Her" white gloss finish polyethylene moulded freestanding chairs designed by Fabio Novembre for Casamania in 2008. Two "Him" and two "Her" chairs available. The manufacturer's stamp is on their base.
"Provocative, playful and sensual, the silhouette of this chair was created using a three-dimensional scan of a plaster sculpture of a male body crafted of rotational-moulded polyethylene in glossy white varnish.
“Him & Her are born directly from the ideas behind the Panton Chair. An evolution of the hermaphroditic original, declined into the harmony of the two sexes. They assume sculpted forms like naked models of seduction but they are not ashamed.” Cit. Fabio Novembre.
The chairs are very well made, sturdy and in a fair condition. Please zoom in on the images for a closer look at their condition. There are some scratches, chips, stress lines to the chairs and some cracking where the legs meet the seat at the back of the knee. Their condition is reflected in the price.
